We offer calibration services for acoustic measuring instruments at the highest technical level. In addition to acoustic measuring instruments, we can also calibrate DAkkS-certified audiometric calibration devices used in medical engineering—such as artificial mastoids and “ear simulators”—and trace them back to the national standard.
You determine the calibration interval. This depends on the application of the sensors. We would be happy to advise you on the correct interval for your device!

Ear simulator and artificial mouth
Artificial Ear / Coupler
Calibration in accordance with DIN EN 60318 and IEC 61094-5:2016
- Pressure calibration (in electroacoustic coupler):
31.5 Hz…16 kHz (sound pressure level 64 dB…124 dB) - Pressure chamber (for built-in measurement microphones):
31.5 Hz…16 kHz - Factory calibration using the substitution method against a reference standard
Artificial mouth
- Acoustic calibration by measuring the amplitude frequency response: 100 Hz…10 kHz
- Factory calibration in quasi-free field against a reference standard
